Introducing IT FACTORY® Platform as a Service

At this year's IBM® Lotusphere, we will be introducing IT FACTORY® Platform as a Service. The new platform and framework will provide ISVs, developers and system integrators with fast Software as a Service (SaaS) enablement of new and existing IBM® Lotus®- based solutions.
The technologies supported by the initial platform will be IBM® Lotus® Notes 7.x and 8.x, IBM® Lotus® Domino 7.x and 8.x, Eclipse 3.x, IBM® WebSphere® Portlet Factory and IBM® WebSphere® Portal Server – with more technologies from all IBM® brands added subsequently.
IT FACTORY® Platform as a Service is based on open, industry standards and will include:
- Key frameworks for SaaS enablement, including a multi-tenant development framework, security, billing, and workflow
- SaaS enablement through virtualization, allowing any ISV with a single or multitenant application to deliver to customers over the Internet as a service
- Developer and test environments that offer access to a truly global online developer ecosystem
- Administration and provisioning tools
- Infrastructure and technologies, including various database and application servers

IT FACTORY Top Sponsor at IBM Lotusphere 2008

The 15th annual Lotusphere conference will be held in Orlando, Florida from January 20-24. IT FACTORY is a Knowledge Sponsor at the event. Joined this year by fellow Knowledge sponsors Nokia, HP and Blackberry.

Danish Cancer Society

Ritter Classic and the main sponsor IT FACTORY have jointly donated DKK 25,000 to the Danish Cancer Society. The money was raised through the sales of cycling shorts in connection with the 2007 edition of Denmark’s most festive sports cycle race, Ritter Classic.
